Flightcase = den bedste løsning, nærmest bullet-proof - så selvom nogen taber kassen, er den så solidt bygget at det vigtigste, nemlig indmaden, er supergodt beskyttet. Køb aldrig en amp uden en flightcase !
I bought this elongated rack case to fit my QSC poweramp. I put the poweramp into the case on the first day I got them and the two have lived together for a few years. As this case is longer than normal flight cases I can fit my speaker cables into the lid on one end and my xlr cables that I use to run to the desk into the other lid. This means that in one case I can carry my amp and all cables needed to run my monitors.
As well as being spacious this case is really solid. This makes it heavy, however I don't mind because being an amplifier case it is almost always having stuff piled on top of it. I have no fears for my amp stored in this and would absolutely buy it again!
I'm using it for two Lab Gruppen IPD2400 amps. It fits perfectly with its depth. This rack doesn't have any problems even with heavier amplifiers. It's made out of quality materials so It will last for a long time.
Highly recommend!
Bought this to try and get around the problem of amp rack weight. I figured putting each heavy amp in it's own 2U rack would save a lot of lifting hassle.
Does the job just fine, with, perhaps, a few niggles. First the wood does not seem as thick as the older Thon racks which I bought about 5 years ago. I guess not an issue as long as it's as durable. Second the mini butterfly catches are a bit of fiddly - but I suppose that's butterfly catches for you. Final issue which may be related to panel thickness is that there is a slight rattle to it when you pick it up or move it, again which the older Thon racks which I have do not suffer.
But don't get me wrong: this is a really good quality rack for the price and would be hard to beat elsewhere.
