Thon Rack 8U Live 40

After many weeks of research, reading reviews and watching videos I bought the Thon 8U Live 40 rack. My touring days are over and I just needed something to keep my gear neet and tidy in my studio while alowing for the ocasional trasport. I was very supprised and delighted then this case arrived at my door. The build quality is superb and the features are equial to those found on higher priced cases. The latches are spring loaded as such the more out of your way when opening the case but donot cause a problem when latching. the edges are smooth and interlock snuggly for a secure and solid fit. The handels are spring loaded as well keeping them out of the way when not needed. I did notice that the finish on the inside around the the hardware had chipped off during transport. I will take some time to clean that up before putting the case into use. Great case, on par with more expensive units I would not hesitate to take this unit out on the road. Great job.

Dependable quality

The perfect rack for gigging. It's very well built with thoughtful features like a little rubber strip on the rails that hold the nuts in place. I looked everywhere and couldn't find an equivalent rack for less or for the turnaround (in my case it was available immediately). Highly recommend.

Good Rack

I use it for effects and preamps. There is Furman M-10x E Power Conditioner also. For these things rack is a bit too deep, but its quite universal.
Rack is sturdy and well build, but lack rails on back side. Its a big enough for attaching small devices to back side also.
Overall I recommend this rack.

Nice heavy duty case. At the beginning, I was worried about the installation depht because all of my equipment is about 20 cm depht, but at the end of the day, it was the best choice because I have too much space for the wires.
