While not as secure as a Neutrik, nor as slim, it does have it's advantages, precisely in it's size - it can easily accommodate a cable that's around 8mm. I've used this with the Cordial CGK Road 75 and it's almost too loose with it, and it's ~7.2mm, and I've used it with a recycled MXR Pro series cable that measures at 8.2mm, and it fits perfectly, The soldering area is ample and solder sticks to it well. The clamping mechanism is very simple, and though it is relatively sturdy, I'd avoid yanking the cable by itself but rather holding onto the plug. Overall - absolutely solid. If You need to fit a chonky cable and don't want to shell out for full blown neutriks it's a no-brainer, do recommend!
