Great vintage looking stand for a 22 even 24" ride cymbal. Of course you can not compare the 6000 series stands stability to the 9000 stands. But it does the job just fine. It's light, simple and if you like the look of it, it will definately hold your cymbal in it's place.
I was unsure about these stand when I got them. I love the vintage 50s/60s look of them but I was unsure whether it could hold a heavy cymbal and even more could with stand a 'Rock' gig. Well it can!! I use it for my Sabian HHX Legacy Heavy Ride which weights a ton and it has no problem holding it. What's better is that ive gigged it loads playing everything from heavy rock to jazz or funk. Definitely worth getting one, one at least and give it a try. you wont regret it. The one thing I would say about it is that it does have a slight wobble. Nothing bad and you wouldn't notice it when your playing. It's fine though i swear.
Its amazingly light, and it folds up amazingly. I can't recommend it more
No complaints here, rugged and heavy duty enough to withstand our drummers heavy hand. I doubt we will have any issues with this in the future. This thing is built to last and will more than likely outlive me!
The stand is lightweight, durable and I'm sure it will last for many years. On the other hand it is not stable enough to hang a rack tom off of. I think this can be said for most flat base cymbal stands.
