All in all an amazing product for the prize and one I strongly recommend. Especially for recording live/rehersals.
Only 4 stars though, as a few specific functions do not have proper corespondance between L-20 and the iPad App.
For instance: If you select a channel on the iPad, it does not activate and light up the corresponding select button on the L-20 itself. There are several similar bugs. I have reported them to Zoom. Never got a reply.
Finally it offers no headphone signal over the optional Bluetooth adapter. That would have been nice.
So four big stars. If the above had not been so I would have given it 5 stars.
2023/08/24:
Today I mainly play through a Soundcraft Ui24R. In many ways a superior product feature wise. There is so much more flexibility in the Soundcraft as you create your own matrix setup of the channels and routing - which also adds to the probability of making mistakes and confusing yourself.
But the big advantage - live - is that it allows multiple users to access it at the same time directly via ie. several iPads.
A feature that only applies to the monitor settings on the L-20(R). And then via a "master iPad" and WiFi, which means you have to have a dedicated router on stage. And there is no "tablet" aka. Android support.
However, I regularly miss the simplicity of the L-20. Especially having the faders. So I still like the L-20 very much. :-)

Question to Thomann: Why is the L-20 categorized as a USB interface? The L-20 and the Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 USB both appear in the live mixer category.
But the Presonus is also categorized as a "digital recording mixer". The L-20 as a "USB interface" alongwith a Fun Generation UA-202...???
The L-20's main strengths clearly are in rehearsal, studio and live mixing.
