My Wolf shoulder rest has gone through alot with me and its rubber feet were all dried out leaving a kind of yellowish "dundruff" everywhere. I had decided to buy a new shoulder rest when I saw these rubber feet replacements. I followed the advice of the gentleman before me and used a wet cotton swab to damp the inside of the rubber. They slipped in quickly, sat in place perfectly and stay stable. It took me 2 or 3 minutes to change them all and now my rest looks as new. Very satisfied. Totally recommend
If your original rubber feet are dried out and won't grip the violin as well as it used to, use these to replace them. Make sure to warm the feet in a cup of warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes, otherwise they won't slide on easily.
Great value to make your Wolf shoulder rest feel as new again.
With a tiny amount of soap, (I watered mine down a bit) they slip on to the wolf feet quite easily and stay there well once you squeeze the last drips out. Once dry, they are as hard to move as they were when I tried to install them without soap: very much attached!
The product is good and quality, but the problem is nobody tells you how to mount it on shoulder-rest. I had to force it, and after 30 min it didn't entered completely.
