The first thing I noticed when I got this was that it seemed like it was built to last. I don't know exactly what material it's made out of, but I do know that it can take some punches. Though I don't really know why anyone would like to punch this thing anyway. Also, this thing looks really nice. Racks barely ever look nice, but this one does. Fits in a living room perfectly and probably even makes the room look more upscale. The rack rails are also tough. They can support a lot of weight.
This rack is well build. I received it with a big scratch and I was disappointed about it, but decide to keep it. Thomann offer small credit for a future order because of that inconvenience. There is a set of screws with rack. It is not cheap but it's nice.
For the cost of the product, this is an extremely well built and durable rack. I have actually dropped this a couple of times with GEAR IN IT, and it has come out with no scratches or cracks whatsoever, instead just a few superficial dents that are very hard to see. It is made from quality wood and for any home studio, it is arguably a no-brainer purchase for those interested.
