Was thinking about buying that Pearl throne in the same price range, but those stitches seemed uncomfortable so I went with this one, which was recommended to me by almost every drummer I asked. I am a beginner and have used a wooden stool before I bought this. My back used to hurt me but on this throne you can sit for hours and you still feel comfortable and pain free.

!!!! This is the velour material of the seat. You also have a leather option. Now, if you think you smell a lot and you sweat, I would recommend the leather version which isn't absorbent and can be cleaned easily. Hell, I sometimes smell too so in that case I put a towel over the throne :D

I own this seat for about two month now.
It shipped in two parts, the seat and the stand. To assemble the stool you just place the seat on the stand and tighten two srews with your hands. The fitting includes a plastic lining so that nothing moves or wobbles once the scres are tightened. Assembly takes about 3 minutes.
The first impression was, that i got a really well manufactured and high quality product. The seat is very comfortable and forces to sit in a good position. So even after long Sessions of over 5 hours I did not have any back pain.
The stand is extremely solid and stands safely.

Only the hight adjustment is a bit more complicated than with other stools. You have to loosen a screw than pull the seat out, adjust on the hight you want and then tighten everything again.

For the time I used the seat it still works fine, nothing wobbles and I sit comfortalbe.

All in all I can say that this is a good seat for every drummer, and your back will thank you for getting a high quality seat.

Great chair!

The height is plenty as I'm a taller guy and I still have height left, so if you are 1.90m this is a great chair. Also the height adjustment is easy and this is more durable than the hydrolic one. And the chair material is also really good, my butt does not sweat that much on this chair. It does lose a star in stability because I can't get it tight enough to not rotate a little bit.
