I was looking for a digital mixer to the band. both for the studio and for the road.
I looked at this and the competitors, Behringer Xr18air and Presonus StudioLive Series III 24R, and ended up choosing the Soundstage.
And Boy, am I glad for that. I haven't used it enough, regarding the problems, some are mentioning about the connections - but the build seems to be sturdy and rigid enough.
The overall use, the sound and the feel in general are fantastic.
The two channels with "DigiTech amp / guitar modelling" works fantastic, and our guitarist doesn't use his amp/speakers anymore.
The 20 channels in all, has given us the possibility to mic up everything.
The buildin Eq's, Gates, Comp., delay, reverbs and the feedback supression are working as expected, and settings are saved for different locations/venues, and can be recalled easily, which cuts soundcheck time to a minimum. and the 8 Aux sends has given each of us, our own monitor send - fantastic.
The user interface are easily understandable, and functions are where You'd expect them to be - so very easy to use, also in a live environment.
We are very satisfied - and I give this mixer my warmest recommendations.
