Once you have found the right earbud size the the in-ears fits really comfortably. You can adjust the tightness of the cable between each side if you have the cable in the back-neck for performance which I like.
The sound quality provides a great distortion with the 3 drivers and generally good sound that produces a dynamic range, that is clear, sharp and full from top to bottom. It's also really good when you play loud music and blends really well when you are performing with loud instruments.
The cable is the most robust one you can find. It rotates and it is replacable but can be very sensitive to water and cold weather. The pros is that Shure sells cables, but the cons is the price for the cable.
It's just kind of sad that you don't get the mic + button-cable in the package, for you have to buy them by yourself.
As otherwise a large part of the population has a smartphone.
When it comes to sound isolation, -37dB Is a lot when you talk headphones. They remove the worst traffic sounds and perfectly suited for concerts if you think it's too loud.
Without hearing music in them, they fit perfectly as earbuds in the jam room.
The black foambuds removes much of the bass from the outside but is a bit difficult to insert than the rubber buds. However the rubberbuds isolates less sound than the foam ones and can sometimes cancel sounds because of the ear suction.
If you are new to the tree shaped buds you should be careful that you don't insert it too deeply so you won't damage your eardrum.
If you have some in-ears for approximately 400 EUR and will upgrade them to the SE535, I will not suggest to choose them as the sound quality is almost the same.
The cable replacement option and their rotation is a big plus for the price if you're comparing other in-ears with the same sound quality and price.
It is not for people who wanna invest about 418 EUR just for listening to music, but more for people who wanna invest money for in-ears that gives comfort and good sound in noisy environments.
Shure SE535-CL are made for performing.
