I used this to make the stings seat properly in a floyd rose nut on a Dean ML - which are notorious for having a terrible break angle for the strings at the nut to the tuners.
I works well enough, and the nut locks up properly now, but the black paint on the screws came off immediately, so minus 1 star for that.
The bar also has a slight curve towards the middle - and I think a flat bar would work better for the intended purpose. This means I also had to remove the plastic cover for the truss rod in order to lower the middle 2 strings enough to make them seat properly in the nut.
So the whole setup looks a little janky, but overall the string retainer works, my strings stay locked and in tune and I can do proper squealies now.
