I use this for a stereo setup. I run my guitar signal through my pedalboard, and then split the signal out to two amps from an end-of-chain stereo reverb pedal (Neunaber Expanse). Now I run the stereo signal from the reverb into this, and then out to the two amps. Both amps have a ground connection. Not only does the SB-6 lifting ground to one of the amps eliminate a lot of hum, but the phase reversal button also turned out to be handy, cause it turned out that my two amps had been out of phase up untill now, and I just didn't know what I was missing. This increased clarity a lot. Mind you, this will only take care of ground-loop noise and out-of-phase problems, you still need a good-quality powersupply with isolated outputs going to each pedal to take care of the rest of the noise! But these things combined sure made a big improvement to noise-levels in my rig. Also, build quality seems solid and top-notch. It has soft padding on its underside, so if you plan to mount it on top of your pedalboard, you'll have to remove that and replace with velcro. I keep it underneath my Pedaltrain Novo 24SC board, where it just about fits, and I'm planning to secure it to the underside of the board with velcro if possible.
