Generally worth to have it, but tends to be not very stable. Perhaps is the nature of the object. I find that if I play it with ankle movement is stable enough, but if I play it with leg movement tends to vibrate a bit too much. And I'm using a very good pedal. On the other hand is light and small to carry. It has 2 good spikes in front to keep it fixed to a carpet/rag. it would have been handy if it had another one in the middle. It has a good L holder which can be adjusted to various heights/positions to be used with both a cowbell or a block.
This is ideal for acoustic drum/percussion set ups. I use this for my LP Cyclops tambourine (mountable) as well as various LP Jam Blocks. Simple to assemble and adjust to your setting. Is compatible with most bass drum beaters. If you mount a tambourine to it, it's best to use a larger felt head as a smaller head may sometimes miss the tambourine frame. Great as a drum set add-on. Nicely made and is compact when packed down.
Very simple to use and stabile in set-up. LP and Richie did a great job with this design in allowing for quick set-up and functionality. I highly recommend this unit for any player.
