Joyo B110 Bass Cabinet 4 Ohms

Being primarily a guitarist and only an occasional bassist, I have never been one to spend much on my bass setup. However, after years of playing through a cheap bass combo practice amp, I was finally in a position to invest in a proper home use bass setup.

After extensive online research, I decided to go for the JOYO Bantamp Badass Head, so it just made sense to me to get the matching cab (and Thomann conveniently package them together in a bundle).

My first impressions have been great - the combination with the Badass Head sounds excellent and build quality is solid. Perfect for home use and I would say it could comfortably be used for small gigs.

So the cabinet is pretty much perfect and matches great with the Joyo Bantamp Bass. Sound quality is great, build quality is flawless, no complaints there.

However, no product is perfect and I have four small complaints. Mind you, all these can be readily seen in the pictures, so they are not hidden flaws, it just bears pointing out because you might not realize that they might be important.
One, the handle is on the side. It's not possible to carry the cab and just put it down since the opposite wall doesn't have feet. To put the cab down on its feet, you need both hands free and there's just nothing to grip since the finish is rather smooth. I would much prefer another handle on top.
Two, the cab looks slanted, but it's just cosmetics since it only has one speaker and it's vertical.
Three, it's not possible to put it in kickback position. It would come in useful, but it's jut not possible.
Four, the tweeter only has on/off control and it doesn't add much for you, the player, when it's on. The dispersion pattern is definitely way too narrow to make the high frequency content pop. I mean, yeah, you can hear *something*, but it's very subtle, especially when you're standing just in front of the cab so it's much below your ear level.

Sitting in front of the cab placed some 2 metres away makes it really come alive and it's great for rehearsing at home or recording with a microphone, so there's that.
However, here's a thing I recently realized: with the Bantamp Badass, with all dials at 12 o'clock, with the tweeter on, noise can be heard.
I'm going to test it a bit more, but obviously, it's not a big issue since it's something that can only be heard in a quiet room and not during a performance, but it kinda kills the idea of using the combination for recording.

Before I bought this amp I red many comments about him and also I watched and listened to on youtube few videos. This small amp looked very promissing, so I decidend to try it. I bought it in a bundel with Joyo B110 Bass Cabinet 4 Ohms and I need to say that this is really powerfull equipment. I'm very surprise of the sound how selective and deep it can be. I love very warm sound and here I can achieve it. I have standard and freetless base guitars, so the second one sounds really amazing. In my collection I have two more bigger amps (combo 250W, and amp with two cabinets 2x400W) but right now, Joyo is my favourite one :) I love it. Small cabinet sounds really great. I'm also using bluetooth and this is what I wanted to have. I can play a drum background from mobile phone or laptop, this is very easy to use.
The on thing is very hard to say for me. I have never played with this amp and cabinet with drums, so I can't say if this will be enough for the band practise? It is really powerfull, so I think that this 50W of amp and 100W of cabinet should be enough to play with drum and guitars, but I'm not sure this.
I can really recommend this product. It is small and it plays beautiful sound.
