Bruger den ved strengeskift. Det har været en fornøjelse lige siden jeg har fået den i min værktøjskasse. Selve auto tuningen fungere fint. Fint produkt, ikke et must men alligevel.
An interesting piece of kit now available for an acceptable price. For a player/owner, handy for the string changes. For use when restringing a floating trem, this might be a very pleasing tool. For a fairly busy repairer though, too slow and a bit too complicated/time consuming to setup for streamlined use across multiple instrument types throughout the day. Build quality is good and the comprehensive instructions are well presented.
If you need to get multiple instruments set up and tuned up in a short space of time then this is the piece of kit for you. Should a luthier get it? No. Should a teacher with a class of 20 - 30 ukuleles get it? Yes.
It's accuracy is close enough for most jams but definitely in need of a few tweaks if you're going to be recording.
This piece has cut class prep time to a fraction so the price tag is quite reasonable given the amount of time it saves.
It's especially great when re-stringing, saves allot of manual twisting. My kids wanted to tune their guitars with it as well but I had to grab it away quite fast. Just hit a lower string than the one it is on, and it will start winding up full speed! Luckily I could pull it off in time but I guess it could have snapped that string if not stopped! As long as you pluck the correct string and hold it firmly, it works great.
