Absolute let down.

Was quite excited about recieving this guitar. But what a complete let down it was, when I first had it in my hands.

PROS:
- The pickups sound very rich and fat.
- Sustain is good.
- Came with luminlay dots.

CONS:
- Poorly finished, paintjob is just way below expectations.
- Frets are sharp.
- Filescratches on the edges of the fretboard.
- Sandingmarks on the fretboard.
- The nut was filed too far down, leaving the strings in the wrong height.
- Frets are not polished.
- Horibble neckdive.
- The neck does NOT feel anything like a Modern C. It's just too fat.
- The guitar itself (even though it should be a new one) was smothered in filth.
- Strings were corroded.

Conclusion:
If you feel like completely restoring a brand new guitar, this is your chance. If you want a new guitar, you should definitely buy another one. In all fairness, it could be that I have just been exceptionally unlucky with this particular instrument, however, every other Harley Benton i own (4) came in complete mint condition.

Great guitar! Especially for the price

The matte black finish and roasted maple neck is gorgeous.
The Emg pickups sound great.
The neck is a bit thicker then expected but is very comfortable.
The nut was cut perfectly.

The only little downside i personally experienced is that there is a little bit of fret sprout.

All in All a great guitar! Especially for the price.

I was wary buying it at first...

...due to mixed reviews of HB instruments, but man, this one is perfect. Came in with perfect action height, only needed to extra intonate 2 strings, but it was a minor adjustment. Has some file marks on the neck, but it is a non-issue, because they blend in with the dark-roasted Canadian maple's finish. Will see how the matte black finish holds up to time. Haven't opened the electronic cavity yet to check the quality of the solders, but so far sounds great with no issues wired or wireless.

I had an Amarok baritone before with these same pickups but they sound a lot better on this Fusion-T. The cleans are absolutely amazing and the distortion is meaty. Nevertheless I bought this as a "project" guitar and will be adding a custom pickguard and swapping the pickups for EMG 57/66 set and maybe while in there, add some extra shielding inside.

I wanted a tele style with humbuckers and 24 frets and this one is perfect. The roasted maple neck was more roasted than usual but that makes it unique and darker than most. The pickups are probably the weak point.
