I had a Gewa case before, but it was a bit too heavy for me, so I had to change to a new one. I bought the same Gewa straps as I had on the previous case because out of all the straps I found them the most comfortable, durable and easy to use.
I have attached these to my Marcus Bonna Quad Trumpet case; the straps that come with it wear out and the buckle had bent so it had previously dropped off my shoulder (no damage, fortunately)..
These GEWA Violin straps are a little pricier but secure and comfortable for my purposes. I have used them for a few months now, I suspect they will last well.
Sturdy & comfortable to wear. Good fit with my Gewa Air 1.7 violin case. The neoprene shoulder padding prevents slipping which helps make the straps feel sturdy.
Much prefer these with the metal snap-hooks, they can swivel but stay in position far better than the straps with the plastic snap-hooks - which would twist around a lot more, so the straps were more difficult to use when putting my case on my back.
These straps with metal snap-hooks don't swivel so much when putting the case on my back - so easier to get on & off my back & generally feel better quality. Definitely worth the extra Euros for the metal snap-hooks, in my opinion.
