Electro Harmonix Nano Metal Muff Distortion

I was looking for a Pantera-esque type tone in a pedal, and after watching a few reviews I decided this was pretty close.

Turns out it's quite versatile - the gain ranges from a medium distortion lead tone to full on thrash metal that borders on fuzz. The EQ is very responsive, maybe even a little too much, but it definitely will let you find some tone settings that work for your setup. The built in noise gate is also a really nice touch, and makes cranking the distortion all the way up a useable option.

Solid construction and the perfect pedal size imo. I can only nitpick that EHX often uses smooth round knobs that provide poor grip for making adjustments, but this is obviously a minor issue.

I'm fully satisfied with my purchase and considering the overall build quality and tone, it's also priced pretty well.
