the keyword is clarity, i installed this on my ibanez Arz 300 (LP style) mahogany neckthru, on the clean channel with a little bit delay its so clear very lively with a little bit extra, above 12th string its there where it shines best, i think it has the air bucker tech, it feels airy too. now with distortion, ive set the distortion to metal style kinda reminds me of air norton on basswood, it can handle shreds with no problem while staying clear, i can defenetely recomend this for those who are looking for a great neck pickup for mahogany guitars or LPs.

This pickup is clear, you can every note in a chord. And it is so good, when you plays distorted leads. All in all a really good humbucker - but I still think, that Ibanez' super-58 is the best PAF-replica in the world....

i swapped out the dimarzios on my rg652 cos they were too hot for me. these are much better and with a three way coil split you get the option of a stratty sound on the rg as well as the Humbuckers tones. i paired it with the dp223 and it's an improvement.

This pickup is great. I swapped it into my Gibson sg in the neck position because I wasnt getting enough output or clarity of tone from the 490r that came stock on the guitar. The difference is remarkable and it sounds so much better than the stock pickup. You can get tones reminiscent of slash, Gary moore or dave murray etc. with ease. It sounds great both clean and overdriven and I recommend you get one if youre looking for a replacement neck pickup with a vintage output that gives you a great, whistling, creamy tone.
