I put off investing in a good-quality powersupply, as I thought pedals are more fun, but what a difference it makes. This gives me the freedom to run all my pedals at once and not having to worry about noise. My previous PSU was the old, first version of the Cioks Big John, which lasted me 15 years, but doesn't have much power and doesn't have separately isolated outputs. The DC7 powers all my 14 pedals, including 3 Meris pedals, and the setup is totally noiseless. I have 2 to 4 pedals hooked up to each output without problems. I did put drives together with drives on the same output, and digital pedals together with digital. My chorus is on its own output, as it can cause some noise. The USB is neat as well for powering my Line6 G10 wireless. I have the DC7 mounted under a Pedaltrain Novo SC24 using the Cioks Grip, works great! Don't skimp on a good PSU, it's the heart of your pedalboard!
