I used this to build my in-ear-monitor system for my band.
The latest fimware and software upgrades has made this even more enjoyable to use. However if you're completely new to routing signals like I was it's a bit of a steep learning curve.
But, now we can't do without it.
It's incredibly satisfying when the XLR locks with a reassuring click sound.
There's apps for Android to control it with, which is very handy when you want your own in-ear mix adjusted but you're stuck behind your drumkit.
In our setup we've got some amp sims (Line6 HX Stomps) for guitar and bass connected to a rackmounted DI-Box and connects that signal into the x32 XLR inputs.
The vocalist plugs straight into an XLR input.
And same with a kick and snare microphone so the band can hear that.
The x32 is connected to a computer with USB to play a click and backing tracks from a DAW.
Everything that needs to go to Front-of-House comes out of the XLR outputs; guitars, bass, vocals, backing-track. And everything that needs to go to our in-ears go out of the jack outputs to wireless transmitters.
I'm very satisfied with it.
