The AER Amp One comes highly recommended and now I can see (or hear) why. It oozes quality from this German build from the moment you unpack it. The features are quite remarkable including a compressor and several additional tone options for sound sculpting. Connections wise, one is spoilt for choice with line in, out to sub, di out, tuner out etc. etc. And, when you plug it in and start playing, you know immediately that this is a very serious piece of kit........ and it needs to be with a price tag not far below £2000! For me it is to replace a 500w Aguilar 2 x 12" stack........ So it needs to perform and perform well. I am downsizing for both size and weight considerations but not wishing to reduce on quality. Also, I needn't have worried, the Amp One just does it and does it extremely well. It is loud when it needs to be and is a well balanced unit which many many possibilities tone wise, depending on your choice and style. Highly recommended.
