The good: The sounds is really pristine, magical, pure. The design is very elegant.
The so-so: With the top closed, the unit can get quite hot, it doesn't ventillate, and it looks so much better with the top closed.
The poor: the bluetooth unit is really bad, horrible built-in connecting sounds, must be the cheapest unit one can buy. also mine constantly disconnected, but since it was so poor, i didnt bother to replace it, i just plugged in another unit i had into the headphone socket.
The volume is really really limited, this is really for home playing and listening to music in a room, not performance ready, not even in a small venue.
(tested with classical with pro pickups, and with jazz guitars)

After 2 years of the 3 of us, I, my nylon string guitar and Acus Allaround 4 are living together, here is what I can say.
I think the best future is the accurate, natural sound it produces.
Its solid construction sits firmly on a perfectly even floor and emanates warm, crisp sound tones, often indistinguishable from the original even to the trained ear.
Playing arpeggios next to it, halfway up the volume, it is difficult to say if I'm hearing the speaker or my instrument.
Power is indeed limited, still louder than most players and this contributes to its high sensitivity, 0 operational noise and overall realism.
It keeps its sound quality all the way up the volume with no effect or tone added.
Effect and tone shift knobs have quite dramatic effects for its character, I'd want them more subtle but still ok since they are sensitive and accurate enough.
I love the clickless on-off function, the small storage for bits and pieces and the magnetic lid.
Screws and hinges are kept to a minimum in size and number, are all of the best quality and the wood finish is immaculate.
As others said before, the Bluetooth connection with the included gratis unit is weak, only good enough for a smartphone sitting on top of the lid or in the storage under it.
Once you are ok with that, close the lid, or not and there you have the perfect Bluetooth speaker that can fill a rather large room with any type of music you choose way above conversation levels.
The power bank future is a welcome option and It seems the mini jack input only functions with TRS connectors.
A true complaint, the grooves on the lid are too small for braided cables and there is no convenient way of carrying it one-handed.
Overall I feel very happy with this product, I believe I got myself a timeless value guitar speaker that expands my creativity and performance levels

I got this so I could play my acoustic guitar with some effects pedals. It doubles as a speaker for my PC. That lets me use it to amplify my midi software instruments too, and I can do both at the same time. For reasons I cannot fathom, the Bluetooth function is useless to me, because the playback (i.e., from phone) is intermittent. But I can amplify wired input from PC and input from instrument at the same time, and like I said, I love the sound, nice and punchy. The thing looks good too, I chose it in part because it doesn't look like a speaker. Unfortunately I have to ding the workmanship on the fact that the pin fell out of one of the hinges right out of the box, and I snoozed on returning the unit to Thomann to have this fixed. The problem doesn't affect function except for opening and closing the lid, which I have to do gingerly. Also, the controls inside the lid are not firmly secured to the frame, so when you press a plug into it, it gives under the pressure. Just add a screw to make this thing solid, for crying out loud.
