I play with XENO many years.
My first pro model was a 8345S, then
8335S, 8310Z, ZS, 9335NY 1rst Gen.
The new model combined the best features from the XENO and Artist series.
The felling of the vibrations is way way better through the trumpet.
The slotting is much cleaner and easy.
The upper register is easier and at more right place.
The sound of the 8335S (yellow Brass bell)
It's resonant with a lot of shinning in all registers.
You can produce easy soft and "darker" sound (always at the Trumpet side, no flumpet etc) and is very very sensitive at the mouthpieces changes.
General a really Professional instrument.
At great price point, and with the Yamaha product quality, (every trumpet from the same type is very close to the other, a very important thing when you must buy new instrument without trying it...)
Highly recommended.

I love my new horn! I was looking for a trumpet to use in a wind orchestra in which Bachs en Yamaha Xeno's are used. It had to be a horn with an full, orchestral sound, so it would blend in with the rest of the section.
This trumpet does exactly that! It is a very reliable trumpet: intonation en flexibility are very good! It's just an amazing trumpet for it's price.
Downside: The trumpet is really good for orchestral use, but I think it does not make a great jazz/big band/... trumpet. For me that's absolutely no issue, since I only use it in a wind orchestra... In fact, it's exactly what I need :-)
