I bought this before, and after having tried quite a few other solutions for guitar practice, I returned to this for one thing: the sound. It does sound more natural and useful. I play both clean, crunch and "heavy" sounds, and in particular the high gain sounds is where this little box of wonders shines above the competition. Its not at all Kemper level, but it is good enough that a tube-amp lover like me dont get distracted, as i did with the Spark amp. The Yamaha is also very well organised, and (unlike the Spark) can function well for wireless playback. It is loud enough for jamming with a friend, and well made. Seems sturdy and is even somewhat good looking. I have yet to come across a modeller amp that doesnt produce some weird artefacts at very low input signal and high gain, and this is not exception. Even the Kemper does it (a little). The noise gate is helpful in keeping it down, and the app is excellent for dialing in more precise sounds than you can on the front panel. This time, i will not sell it :)
