I am learning piano since a couple of years and I bough this keyboard as an upgrade to an entry level beginner keyboard. After many months of evaluating comments and review on internet, I choose to upgrade to the Yamaha P525. I couldn t be more happy. I couldn t get a real acoustic piano (yet), but this yamaha P525 is really to me the closest thing. It is actually very similar in felling to the keys of the acoustic piano of my teacher. It has wooden keys (the withe at least) which give very pleasant weight and feeling. The piano also has many options and different piano sound, the most impressive being the CFX Piano sound where, if you use a headset, the sound is played as binaural sound. With a good headset, you close your eyes and you really have the feeling that the real thing is in front of you.
The included speakers on the piano are obviously a compromise, for a keyboard like this, but they are still high enough quality to have a bass presence and nice clear mid and high. Probably for the full quality of the sound I would need to use external speakers, but for the moment the piano as it is is perfect for me.
Also great price deal and very fast delivery from Thomann, very much appreciated.
