I am not going to lie... When I read some of the negative reviews here on, Thomann I was a little worried... Unnecessarily~!!
Yamaha surprised me with its typical high quality and perfection.
If you see a B-stock item, this might be me... ;(
Never in my life had I wanted to keep the gear so much; acoustic drumkit: Yamaha Stage Custom + this Yamaha DFP-9500C Double Foot Pedal
It turned out I would have to invest almost twice as much to capture the whole acoustic drumkit and record it the way I want. Even then I am not sure if my room is just beyond saving...
I have spent a few sleepless nights not knowing what to do...
You have a perfect Yamaha gear that is pure joy to play on, looks stunning, amazing quality all over the place but... You just cannot capture the decent sound of it on the record no matter what you do...
The only pedal I could compare it to is, Roland RDH-102 | Double-Bassdrum-Pedal which I use with my ekit (Roland TD-07). Both are amazing.
Yamaha comes with an amazing Yamaha bag for your pedals so if you need to move with it, it may come in super handy/
Once again, the pedal itself and Thomann = absolute perfection/
I have already decided to give the acoustic set one more shot next year when I secure enough money for it. Needless to say... I will AGAIN buy Yamaha and via Thomann. You just can't go wrong with this combination/.
