get to use an extra output from my power supply (I don't have any 18v pedal) no issues so far. Would have been more user friendly if Truetone allowed switching on the power supply itself
Extract the most out of your Truetone 1spot power supplys

I have Truetone 1spot CS12 that has 2x 18V jacks. Since I dont have any 18V pedals, but needed extra power for new pedals, I bought this adaptor. The important things about this product is that the green jack must go into the pedal. The cable is long enough so that I was able to have the bulky adaptor part under the pedal board (Pedaltrain Classic), so it's out of way.
This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Cut 18v down to 9v.
It may look kinda flimsy, but I haven't had any problems yet.
Remember: green side goes into the pedal!
I always forgot :)
I've got a Onespot CS12 and the first two outputs are 18V - boo! Hiss! I picked this up because there is always room for more pedals on the board, yet never enough power outlets. So far my compressor hasn't exploded, so yay I guess.
I needed to use the 18V outputs on my MXR ISObrick for 9V pedals - these little plug-ins did the job. Tidy little units are tucked away and are just what I needed. Couldn't be simpler!
