This gong stand is very nice for playing gongs at home, warmer from an aesthetic point of view than the more common metal stands. I use it with 32" and 36" gongs and up to now I have encountered no problem. The only two things you must be aware of is: first, that there are no installation instructions, but it is very easy; second, you need a T27 Torx key.

Before I found this product I wondered if I would have to have something exactly like this custom built for me. The 80cm chau gong it houses is beautiful and I wanted a stand with its own beauty, which I got with this.
The wood selection for this stand is excellent, with a lovely sheen and gentle tones of light browns. The green of the wood had matured to brown before it arrived to me.
I was able to assemble it on my own.
It has been very sturdy through months of playing, and it is easy to imagine it serving well for decades.
