What I needed

I have a vintage round-back mandolin in need of repair and since I don't know if it's worth salvaging until a luthier examines it, I needed a case that wouldn't break the bank. This is perfect! I am happy to report that if the mandolin gets repaired, I will keep using this bag. The foam material is thick and rigid, very pleased with the protection it provides. All in all, exactly what I needed at a price point where there is no contest. Recommended!

A new home for my Taterbug

I got this bag to store my GEWA Round back Mandolin in.

Pros: The bag itself is well stitched and of good quality.
It is suitable for storing the instrument at home and it protects the instrument from dust as well as minor bumps or scratches.
The pouch on the front is useful.
The straps and carry handle enable the bag to be carried on one’s back or in the hand.
It would be suitable for transporting an instrument in a car or on public transport but it is definitely not padded enough for flying or any other transport where a lot of impact would be involved.

Cons: None, particularly for the price.

In conclusion it’s a good bag for the price. Bags for round back mandolins are hard to come by and this one is excellent value

Perfect for Neapolitan Mandolin

I own a Neapolitan Mandolin, with bowl. This bag is perfect for hanging it around and is nice to see. There is a really usefull zip pocket in front, ideally for keeping a new set of string or pick or tuner.

Very happy with this item. Sturdy bag and waterproof. Mandolin fits very nicely into it.No reason for complaints at all, Great value for money.
