The pedal itself is built like a tank, and the knobs are easy to use with either hand or foot.
The footswitch triggers on release, which is weird, compared to "most" pedals.
The shimmer effect itself is okay, when taking the low price into account. and can be adjusted for a brighter or darker nuance, via the Tone and Shimmer controls.
But sadly they messed up the mix control, almost making the pedal useless.
With 0% mix, the signal is unity level, and only sounds slightly affected by the ad/da conversion. But as soon as you start mixing in the wet signal (shimmer), the "dry" signal is turned down. So when you finally get to the point where you can hear the shimmer, the dry (and overall) signal is significantly lower than unity gain. At around 75% the dry signal disappears, and you are left with a the shimmer effect, still way below unity level.
This makes the pedal pretty useless, unless it is used as always one or with a dedicated boost.
Taking the build and effect quality into account, i am completely baffled by the pedal suffering from such an obvious issue.
