Tama TSM01 Mute Pads

I am not one for writing many reviews but thought I must offer praise where praise is due even though this is only a very small product.

I am not a heavy hitter by any means and like most drummers in small venues I sometimes struggle with unwanted overtones depending and I have found these pads very useful on my snare. I use a coated ambassador on a brass pearl free floater and it elimenates overtones and gives a sweet crack. When I use two it is very good and i can interchange between single and dual application depending on the type of music. Their use on my tom toms with pin stripe heads was very limited however and I find moon gel a better option. To be honest I would revert to single ply heads were it not for cost!
Anyway I regret not buying more of these Tama mutes. they remain sticky, never lifted off the heads and are an exemplary product.
