I have used Tama hardware in the past, and have always been impressed with the quality of workmanship, and this set is no exception. The stands are lightweight but sturdy, and I'm sure will stand the test of time, like other Tama products. The quick release cymbal pad holders were new to me, but hold securely. I may replace them at a future date with more traditional wing nut type holders, but they are fine. If you already have a bass pedal (which I did), this is an ideal set for a gigging musician needing lightweight, dependable hardware.
