Very faint sound only

I have the same problem described here that the sound is extremely faint. The device is recognized as a "line-in" on windows limiting the adjustment options severly. There are no drivers on the manufacturers website or troubleshooting for this. I have a work-around where I basically use the software voice-meeter as a software preamp but it's really not ideal. Overall, I really would not recommend this microphone.

(And yes I am sure the setup is correct, the microphone is oriented correctly, etc. )

I gave 5 stars to features as the product works.. How ever I now have 2 of these mics and I'm sad to tell you that both of them are broken somehow. The sound is coming true but only if you are very very very close and yell. Side by side my E205U and this MK2 and I talk plainly the MK2 won't catch any sound. Tested on Linux and Windows. Thoman send me the second one with zero expense but now I have to send 2 back to them..

Nice microphone, but not working

Unfortunately, the microphone was not working. The sound is very low and there is extraneous sound noise, no matter what settings I made in Windows. Thomman answered my problem and sent me another one of the same microphone (for free), but it also turned out to be inoperative (the nature of the malfunction is the same). The second microphone behaved the same as the first. I went to a specialist and he also found that these microphones were not working properly. Although the sound to the headphones (the headphone jack on the microphone body) is very good. I am not urging you not to buy this microphone, but be careful. Now I have two microphones and they don't work. Very sorry. I do not ask for a refund and I do not ask for a third microphone to be sent to me. I bought another microphone on Ebey.
