I recently purchased a X32 Compact and needed a lamp to go with it. When I was ordering I originally read through the X32 manual to find that it said 3 pin. However when the console arrived the connector was a 4 pin XLR. Thomann as usual were very happy for me to return the lamp however I found I was able to replace the connector for about the same price it was to send it back. I would like to add that it was all my fault for the wrong purchase.
The light works very well with the dimming however, on my desk anyway, anything below 50% doesn't light up the LEDs at all. This is typical for LEDs as they don't easily dim as a standard lamp does. The output is nice and wide, perfect for my compact desk and can easily fit in the back of the flight case when travelling.
If anyone is wondering. The "LED bar" part is detachable from the gooseneck so you can always purchase longer ones etc. Or if you already have a light that you want to use then you can use this gooseneck for that lamp (it is a standard DC plug fit).
