Seemless integration with Ableton

Works perfectly with Ableton and greatly improves workflow lending a more tactile mixing style to an - in my case - otherwise laptop-based setup. The only downside is the fact that - due to the protocol the UF1 uses to interact with Ableton - you have to switch banks on the controller when jumping between groups of 8 faders in Ableton (otherwise the controller will just change to the channel you select in Ableton with fx your touchpad/mouse). This can sometimes lead to confusion if you forget it, and accidentally mix/make automation on the wrong channel..!

Killer Transport for your DAW

I have the UF8 & UC1 so I had an idea of what was to come with the UF1 but to my surprise, it's even better than I imagined. Two stand-out features are, the EQ visualiser for the UC1 and the Meter section. These two things alone make the unit worth it. I no longer need to buy a hardware meter (which are fairly expensive: around €300).
Great quality build as would expect from SSL!

Best DAW controller i have used

Had the steinberg controller before and the workflow just wasnt there enough. Now with the triple UF* set the experience is amazing having faders, daw and effects in single deck.
