Sontronics Solo

The mic itself is a wonder soundwise, but mine wasn't as sturdy as it seems.
I bumped my forehead into it and the windshield broke off.
I'm convinced that mine just had a build fault. It wasn't supposed to break that easy. I mean it's build for the road and stage.

Thomann aftersales reject a warranty cover because they claim that "external force" has been used.
I claim that the issue here is the flaw in the build, not how it came off. It should have been able to withstand much harder force.
I tried to point out the issue, but they just keep replying with a standard letter of reject due to external force.
Isn't even usage considered external force??
Well anyway its a cheap mic that cost them a probably insignificant customer.
