You get just a handfull of modules, so included presets are of no real value.
No point in buying VMR as a standalone version, better stick to the subscription, where everything is going to be included (and VMR is going to be as functional as it should be).
On the other side... the quality of the sound is superb. Once I found out what to use and how to use it, I use it all the time. VMR is "the glue" for most of my mixes.
I had some installation issues, pertaining to SlateDigital licencing, since their site and iLOK system have to lock with eachother. That was not as quick and seamless in my case, but... patience pays off.
