Apply the partial capo at the second fret on the A, D and B strings and you have a DADGAD-type tuning (in fact it's one full tone higher: EGEABE). The tuning is wonderful, with stacks of new, rich chords available. Since you don't change the guitar's tuning you can play barré chords from the third fret and above as if the capo wasn't there. This little item is brilliant. It's built in the usual top quality from Shubb. Someone gave me one as a present (thank you Allan, and thank you for the Guild D25!), I absolutely loved it, and I have now given three away as presents myself.
