What strucks me most with this windscreen is the shape and design. Using it on top of my e935 on stage it goes almost unnoticed, not adding too much to the size of the mic. Most importantly it does the the job I needed it for - as a pop filter in live performances.
Sennheiser MZW1 is one of the rare windscreens that go with Sennheiser G3 series. As I have them, I bought one MZW1, and though expensive, it is of very good quality and does the job really well.
At first it is hard to put it on the capsule, but it gets easier in time. It fits perfectly (I have it on SKM 100-945) and eliminates unwanted wind and pops.
Took a risk on buying these more expensive mic shields over cheaper ones and it has paid off. Clearly a better quality of foam.
This will not get rid of all your pops and wind but does significantly reduce them.
Be aware that this leaves about 10mm of foam on top of the head of the mic. So if you like to get super close to your mic to prevent feedback, this might not be for you. But that will be the case with most windshields.
