Special effects for an individual sound are easy to achieve with the Heck Stick as an add-on
How about some hi-hat on the cajon? No problem! What is new here is the smaller form as a more compact solution: Heck Stick ONE with integrated front-clap effect.

Bought this little gizmo about a year ago and I have to say I love it!
Great little addition to my Cajon as it really adds an extra dimension to the sounds it can produce. The Cajon is a great instrument but it can be a bit lacking with certain styles and the Heck Stick's high hat section really adds the extra element the Cajon is missing! Its highly versatile and really adds that extra sound to push a beat further when you need it. The only down side is the wooden clave section which can often sound kind of cheap and so isn't quite as versatile, but don't let that put you off, I would recommend this to any travelling percussionist who wants a bit more out of their cajon.
Recently bought a Heck Stick One to add to my Schlagwerk MoveBox. Gigged with both last week - fabulous sound - I have the kit mic'd up with a transducer mic through an amp & PA - great sound and very effective.
Soon to try out at the Acoustic Festival of Britain with my band The Cheesecutters. Where it will get a good airing!
Thanks again Thomann!
Good, I mean, it's exactly what it is: a cembal and a sort of claveish sounding wood click. I find it a bit overpriced though. Apart from that, I think it's a great product.
Do yourself a favour and buy this thing! Now I can play drum kit patterns on my cajon using the Heck Stick like a hi-hat. Check out the online videos of the Heck Stick One. Very happy with this purchase.
