Always prefered to use Schaller style straplocks since they won’t snap of like som others.
The new roubd nuts Scaller use now are a nice improvement over the old traditional nuts, much easier to work with and even allow some space if desired.
Although I tightened it to the strap and use a tiny bit of lithium grease between the mechanical connection to avoid risking to loosen the screw on the guitars body.
Lithium grease is used on Fanatec racing pedals, since it works well for metal to metal connections and has better durability than a few other options, plus it isn’t to expensive.
EDIT: One of the small screws did loosen after a while and dissapeared, so the old system is much better.
So I hope Harley Benton keeos offering their version without modifications, since Schallers new locks aren’t compatible with the old lock, neither is Richter, HB is!
