I have to congratulate Thomann for stocknig a wide range of diofferent spare parts ,, make a change from having to search through ebay to find bits and bobs. I bought this set to convert 2Box Mk1 hexagonal cymbal arm to be suitable to be used with a Roland Cymbal on my 2Box rack kit. Just a word to the unknowing, The original M1 2Box cymbal holder had a screw thread at the top and yon used a butterfly shaped wing nut to fix the cymbal to the stand ie like a traditional cymbal. The Roland cymbaks have a sort of triangular shaped recess underneath and the fits over a pointed metal widget to hold it in place on the cymbal stand. So thsi spare part set provides this metal widget as well as a new wing nut and cymbal felt so I could convert the 2Box arm to hold a Roland cymbal. NOTE the new 2BoxM11 cymbal arms as sold now by Thomann do not have a thread on the top .. it has an unusual push fit clip. On the top of the 2box cymbals there is quite a deep recess to hold the bung which locks the cymbal in place. My own Roland cymbals dont have any recess like this so Im not sure if they could be converted to hold other brands of cymbal.. I must say that I have not tried this myself.. but check it out if you have a 2Box M11 rack and are thinking of changing cymbals and dont weant to change the cymbal arm as well
It fits and works as expected! the material is strong and the whole packgage was well packed.
I just needed a 3 new cymbal holders for my new drum mds-9sc roland drum rack and i found it here in Thomann website. The price might be expensive and maybe i could find an alternative for that BUT i choose the best and the Original so i think it worth any penny to spend on that.
no cons at all, just plug and play as usual on every cymbal .
don't hesitate buy it if you own Roland cymbals .
