This product is good...but not great. Overall I don't have many complaints. One thing that does infuriate me though is that while the straps are secured with D-rings, they're held on with velcro. I can't believe something so simple was overlooked. Whenever I pick up the bag with guitar inside, the velcro instantly comes apart leaving the straps dangling by the D-rings. I've had the bag a few months now and the D-rings are secure and everything, but it's not comfortable at all. I wish they were just stitched and reinforced with D-rings.
I found it difficult to find a 335 shape bag and even harder to find one that fits an Epiphone Sheraton II given the larger headstock. It does fit in the bag but it's a tight squeeze at the top. It wouldn't be as secure as something with a smaller headstock. The rest of the foam feels okay. My dad actually works in a factory that makes foam and he was impressed with it.
Overall this isn't a bad bag. At ?69 you could get a lot worse. I feel it's let down by such a simple design flaw in the straps, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend.
It's a solid and well protecting gigbag. I use it for my Gibson ES-359 Custom shop and it needs good protection.
Of course it's not as study as a hardshell case, but it's exactly what you need for careful transportation to rehearsals or studio sessions.
I wouldn't recommend it for live gigs to protect expensive instruments though ... you need something RIGID for that.
