I've had mine for almost two years know and while it took me a while to get used to it, it was mainly because I needed to get used to the "Orange sound" and not because there was anything wrong with the Micro Dark.
It sounds great - but it *is* a dark sounding amp. It's a lot louder than you think and at a venue where your amp would be mic'ed up I'd even say you could gig with it without problems. It's loud and proud!
I wish it had built in reverb, but the added FX loop will sort you out, so no biggie. Certainly not at this price.
I don't particularly care for the one knob EQ/tone control, but that's down to me not being so used to it. It does what it says in the manual, but I would have liked a bit more control.
This is a great little amp that in no way sounds or feels small when played in a room. For home recording people looking for an "orange flavour" it's an absolute no brainer and frankly I feel it is under-priced with the value it represents.
Highly recommended!
