I bought a couple of these to chain power to a couple of extra pedals I bought and then bought a few more when I expanded my pedal collection. They must be very well shielded as you don't get much noise from the power supply - I've bought cheap daisy chain supplies in the past and had to throw them away, they were that noisy. None of that with these.
I like having the choice to put as many or few power supplies into a chain as I want without having spare cables flapping about. The only downside is that when you put two connectors in a chain, they are considerably larger than just a single power connector and might not fit some pedals if the spacing between power socket and cable sockets is tight. Having said that, I've used them on a Fender Hammertone chorus and not had any issue.
I needed to power two external drives on one 12V supply (which, I verified, is beefy enough to power them both). Nice braided cable. Connectors are compact and both the male and female ends support both common center peg sizes of the barrel plug (i.e., 2.1mm and 2.5mm). The price is very fair too, so al in all I am 100% satisfied.
This adapter is compatible with both 2.1mm and 2.5mm power connectors. It works with standard pedal plugs and also Line6 HX Stomp. It feels very sturdy.
