I bought this Mooer Wall Adapter as I needed a high current 9volt centre negative adapter to power a Kingsley Amplifiers Harlot.
At a minimum the Harlot require 9V @ 500ma (half an amp) current. As this is a minimum I wanted something that would easily power it and I found this Mooer Wall Adapter. With 2000ma of current available it is perfect for what I need.
I really appreciate that Thomann sell this adapter in UK configuration as I live in Ireland and that is the type of plug and socket we use. I find European plugs annoying (however Thomann are always good at sending a free adapter where needed).
The product itself appears well built and sturdy. It came in a nice black box that, if I'm honest, made it look like there was something cooler than a power supply unit in it.
Overall I can't fault the product. It looks nice and does exactly what I want. It probably has enough power on tap to power an entire pedalboard for most people. I needed a high current 9V centre negative PSU and this is what it is.
Nothing much to say about this. If you're using a Mooer pedal or board, it's always best to use the power supply designed to go with it if you can, and this Mooer wall adaptor is great value for UK and Irish buyers.
It's also important to remember when buying Mooer pedals that they can't take batteries, so you do need to buy one of these separately.
I have been using this supply to power a BOSS multi fx unit for many gigs now and the power supply has held up wonderfully. No complaints here and it has a decently long, strong cable too.
