This is the very 1st set of mesh heads that I bought (ever), so I have no other experience with them.
Having said that - I got them to do a conversion on my Alesis DM10 kit and man, what a difference.
I have played Roland mesh heads and I can't feel a difference (both 2ply I suppose so it makes sense)

Can't comment on quality as I didn't have them that long, but the beating (!) that they took up to now doesn't look like it is fazed.

I will buy these again and recommend them to anyone without thinking about it.

Thomann sent me these 2 pcs as replacement for mesh on kick drum on drums Millenium 850 bcs original mesh was already showing some tears after few hours of playing. These seems bit thicker, hope they will last longer than original ones.

Cheap mesh head and so it's the look and feel.

It's a double layer mehs head, but the layers are so thin and loosely woven that they are very transparent.
To me, they feel and look like a single layer mesh head.
I'm going to look for another brand.
