Ordered two of these and they fit very nicely on both my Yamaha and Millenium cymbal boom arms.
Build Quality/Function:
They are good quality products, stand up well to the wear and tear of packing up and packing down and are fantastic for the price. They pay for themselves by being stable, reliable and by functioning to enable attachment of cymbals to various brands of boom arms in awkward to reach places or angles on the drum kit and they free up space on a rack for other percussion mounts too.
Recommend?:
I like the style build quality, and function of the product and so happily recommend them, because I will be , and I have a spare I keep in my stick bag.

It’s a very good device.
It’s a great idea from one of the reviewers to immediately ditch the handle, put the top screw there and put a quick cymbal lock on top.
It’s what I do with all my cymbal rods.
Especially this item will often be used in tight spaces and this way it’s the most compact of all.
But it doesn’t go on the 12,7 mm (1”) poles from Gibraltar, for instance.
And that’s a big downer for the versatility of this thing.
Alesis has some 1” poles in it’s ecosystem as well. And no doubt a few other brands I don’t use.
Millennium has got a DB-118 that uses 2 of these DB-118s (the ‘s’ probably stands for ‘single’ ) on a 12.5 mm pole, but clearly no one thought to make it allround compatible in drumland with 0,2 mm extra………..
So this won’t fit all, and that costs it some stars. And selling numbers.

I've used this in loads of different locations on my set up and its been great. I used it on a boom arm to mount two splashes and it was great. I threw it on the end of a crash boom one night and threw a little china splash up... You wouldn't really use it for bigger cymbals and probably wouldnt really try it over 12" but...it was a good little buy that I keep in my bag and through up here and there
