This is an awesome concept! I can now make really complex and precise shaker figures on my recordings without being a shaker wizard.
The small set does have a quite neat sound but you can hold two together (they come in pairs) or get the bigger set to get a fuller sound.
I love these shakers!
I produce electronic music and since i was not very happy with the shakers samples in all of these sample libraries out there
i decided to buy and record real ones!
Since i'm not a percussionist myself, getting the shaker tail to sound good needs a lot of practice to get it right but that's where the LP 442A was the most helpful!
Soundwise the pitch was very good for me but it would be nice for the future if there are more sizes/tones to choose from.
And i am looking forward for a bigger louder version of those babies.
This is true single shot shaker.
Having two (comes as a set) allows you to express complicated patterns easily.
